  When the sun moves from the Meena Rashiya to the Mesha Rashiya in the celestial sphere; Sri Lankans begin celebrating 🎉🥳 their New Year 🎇 or Aluth Auruddu and puththandu . It marks the end of the harvest season and also coincidence with one of 2 instances when the sun is directly above Sri Lanka. Cultural rituals begin shortly after the beginning of the new Year with the cleaning of the house 🏠 and lightning of an oil lamp. In some communities, women congregate to play upon on the raban to warm others of the incipient change in the year- from lightning the fire to making the kiribath to entering in to the first business transaction and eating the first morsels, Once these are done, the partying really begins as families mingle in the streets., Homes are thrown open and children are let out to play.  The ubiquitous plantain is dishes out alongside celebratory feasts of kavum and kokis 🤗😋🥳🎇🏠

Badminton 🏸🏸 Badminton is a sport that makes me feel Active and healthy while having fun. It is the source of my energy 🙂. Playing this sport makes me feel strong and confident. Each stroke of the racket makes the typical "whoosh" sound that I love 💕. I feel I could rule the world with my precise and calculated stroke.  Badminton is a sport of beauty 😍. It is crafted with elegance and precision the best combination. The roots of this great sport date back to the 19th century British ruled India.  I like to play badminton everyday 🤗

  My favorite fruit is apple 😋🍏.we get it in winter season. We also get green and gold apples.They are of different shapes and sizes.They usually grow in Hilly regions.  They have small seeds inside. I peel off the skin and eat it. It is sweet to taste. It is very useful fruit. We can make jam And juice 🥤 from it. I can eat apples everyday. It is very good for health. It is said that,'An apple a day keeps doctor away '. 🌟Facts about apple 😋 1.apples contain no fat, sodium or cholesterol and are a good source of fiber 2. Apple trees take four to five years to produce their first fruit.

  🌟My dream house is a place where I wish to live with my parents and siblings. 🌟It should be a 5 bedrooms double storey bungalow at the town 🌟The house 🏠 should have a spacious veranda that attached with dinner hall😊 🌟My dream house should be built of bricks, cement marbles and tiles with all modern design. 🌟All the rooms of my house 🏡 should be airy with huge bow windows. 🌟The walls in my home should be painted with light color which should give a bright look to the interior. 🌟 There should be a beautiful view of a playground and park 🏞️ from the balcony. 🌟My house should be surrounded by a small garden outside with trees, small plants and flowers 🌺 in it. 🌟My sweet home should be ai ideal place where I should feel secure and comfortable to stay there 🤗

  In the morning I get up at a quarter past seven when I have lectures. On Saturday and Sunday I don't have lectures , so I wake up at nine o clock ⌚. I always go to the bathroom. I have a shower, brush my teeth, comb my hair and get dressed. I usually have breakfast 🥞 at home 🏡.  I usually go to university by bus.  I never walk to university and when it's raining my father drives me. At half past eight a sometimes have English and at ten o clock ⌚ I have a break. I have a sandwich 🥪 and a cake 🍰. I always talk with my classmates. In the afternoon I often go back home on foot and have lunch with my parents  I sometimes have lunch at the University canteen expect on Wednesday and of course at the weekends. I don't like canteen food. After lunch I do my homework and I study some university subjects for an hour. Afterwords, I play with my friends or I play computer games until seven o clock. Before dinner I watch TV and I lay the table. I always have dinner at half past ei

  I rushed to help. Many other people also came running. The driver was badly out of the car. He had received a big cut on his forehead and was bleeding profusely. Soon, he was taken to a hospital in another car 🚗 . The driver was alone in his car, which had been smashed quite badly. A pool of blood had collected on the road 🛣️. After sometime, a team of traffic ⛔🚦 police 🚓 came and cleared away the crowd. Then they began their investigation. It was a horrible experience. It happened so fast that I just couldn't believe my eyes 👀. I still shudder at the memory of that accident.

  My name is Nirmi Nawodya Rathnamalala🤗 I am from ambanpola.  I am 21 years old. About my family, consist 5 members, my father, mother elder sister, younger sister and me💕. My mother is a music teacher and my father is a farmer. I love my family with the care of my heart ❤️🥰 🌟I get up early in the morning 🌄 at 6. 00 a.m and sleep at 11.00 p.m . A school is place of learning for a child 🚸.it is a training ground for him. Here he forms new associates, comes in contact with girls of different temperaments and forms new ideas and habits. It is here that she prepares herself for the stage of life. So the great importance for her. I was enrolled in a school at the age of five.it was a primary school 🏫. The memory of my first day in school is still fresh in my mind.it was a small school with eight rooms. There are ten teachers including the physical instructor. The headmaster's office was separate. The school had a compound with lush green lawns and flowers bedded .

 Vesak is the main Buddhist religious festival in Sri Lanka. During this time, people celebrate the triple anniversary of Lord Buddha - his birth,his attaining of enlightenment and his passing away in to Nirvana . Colourful bamboo - framed lanterns adorn the interior of every home and luminous displays decorate the street of most towns. Visit Bhauddaloka Mawatha , the main street in Colombo, to catch this glowing spectacle in full glory. Vesak marks the first month of the Buddihist calendar. This is a day spent in reflective prayer as people cease worldly pursuits and engage themselves in religious activities. Devoted Buddhists pray in temples from dawn until dusk. Asthe sun sets, devotees partake in processions and return to the temples in the evening to hear monks read stories from scared texts. Roadside stalls distribute free refreshments to passers by and there are mime and street theatre performances, staged on tall platforms near temples in cities and towns throughout the country

🌟It is our duty to take care of our mother and father. I understand that we all get old and then we all change in appearance and lose strength. My chaps will also grow older. When they are very old, they will turn into babies. Then they will not be able to do their work alone. 💕 I will have to find and feed them as I was fed as a baby; Will have to wash them and clean them by my self. Will have to help. I have seen parents who are helpless in their old age. When I see that, I remember my chaps. In those cases, I firmly make up my mind to take care of my parents when they are old. 💖No matter how much children help their parents, it is not enough. My mother raised me with milk . My father worked till his body sweated and provided me with what I needed. There is no pain that my mother and father do not suffer for our sake. That virtue should be in the hearts of the children. I will never forget my parents, they are like my life. I will take good care of them ☺️.

Tom 😸 and Jerry 🐭 is my favorite cartoon 😁 Tom is a cat and Jerry is a mouse 🐀 in this cartoon show. it's looking cute and the action of Jerry character is adorable. This time my heary congratulations to Jerri's picture designer. 🐀🐈Tom and Jerry is a comedy show. They are two different characters of the cartoon. Tom is a grey color, big and hungry cat 😁. Jerry is a brown color,small, brave and cute mouse 🐀. Tom and Jerry live together in the same home 🏠. They always fight, but their friendship lives forever. Tom always grab Jerry with his tall where Jerry always tries to run awary from Tom.. Tom ends up with no success in catching Jerry 🐭. World biggest enemies cat and mouse, but they teaches us a priceless lesson Tom 🐈 never killed Jerry 🐭 in whole show series. I like to watch Tom and Jerry TV show very much 🥰😁

  Sigiriya 💥It is considered as one of the world heritage sites named by UNESCO. It is located in the Central Province of Sri Lanka. 💫This fort was built by King Kasyapa. He built his palace on top of this rock and painted colorful murals on its sides Decorated with It is almost 100 meters high.  🌞Sigiriya Lion Gate, Katapatpaura, Geoiewed gardens, water parks, caves etc. The fountains are still active during the rainy season. It is one of the best preserved examples of ancient urban planning and is the most visited historical site in Sri Lanka. It is our duty to preserve this ancient monument.

 I am very foodie. I love to eat and cook. The food gives us energy. Without food, there is no life. Among the number of food, pizza is my favorite food it tastes and smell Fabolous. The pizza itself looks so yummy 😋🤤, crispy and so cheesy 😍. There is no better feeling in the world than a warm pizza box 🎁 on your lap.my love for pizza is very high. I am always hungry for pizza 🍕,be it any time of the day. Cheese 🧀 is the secret ingredient of any food it makes any food taste yummy 😋🤤😋🍕 Nearly any ingredient can be put on pizza 🍕. Those decid vegetables, jalapenos, tomato 🍅 sauce, cheese 🧀 and mushrooms makes me eat more and more like a unique work of art. On every occasion, I celebrate it pizza style 😁😁. No matter how to much a have eaten, I never fail to make my self feel hungry when II have my favorite pizza 🍕 in front of me 😂😍. Flavors are felt exploding in my mouth when I take the 1st bite of my pizza 🍕😋.My love for my pizzas 🍕 is eternal and nobody on this eart

  ❤👱Some people say they met their best friend in elementary school or from a sports team,  luckily, I found mine in the womb being born at the same time as me. Not many people are so fortunate as to have a twin sister. 💖😘I feel exceptionally lucky to consistently have her by my side. She has supported me in everything I do. 👭 😍💗Ever since I was born, ,Dulmi has continuously supported me in everything I do.She Is a kind and intelligent person.🐰🐰We both love to talk and spending time with each other.  Her favorite hobbies are singing, drawing and watching stories.
